Michael Reynolds

Michael D. Reynolds is an Engagement Director with The Concord Group’s Newport Beach office. His expertise is the programming and valuation of urban mixed-use projects and suburban master planned communities. Since joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Reynolds has completed over 500 engagements around the country for some of the nation’s largest builders, developers and financial institutions.

In addition to development programming, Mr. Reynolds focuses on economic and financial analyses associated with existing properties as well as development opportunities. He has extensive experience in the evaluation of residential and retail land uses, participating in numerous projects where the objective has been to identify the highest and best mix of uses for very large properties. Such an approach to value maximization has had broad appeal to his developer clients, as well as to financial institutions seeking to safe-guard their investment.

Outside of his client engagements, Mr. Reynolds is actively involved with the Orange County chapter of the Urban Land Institute. In the past two years, he has been a guest lecturer addressing residential market trends to the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, UCI School of Planning, Policy and Design, Urban Land Institute’s Real Estate Development Process forum and the Southern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

A native of Connecticut, Mr. Reynolds moved to Southern California to attend Claremont McKenna College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
