Kerrin West is the President and Owner of Studio 81 International, a design firm that is truly unique.

Founded in January of 2009 she has compiled a team of professionals that has well over 100 years of combined experience. This collaborative group brings specialized talents together to not only offer a wide range of services, but also to bring these dynamic experiences to all project types.

Kerrin has over 20 years of design and project management experience including custom homes, production homes, hillside design, remodels, light commercial and resort. She specializes in higher density design solutions from the community design to the floor plan and exterior themeing. She has designed for a variety of densities, price points and unique conditions while meeting the ever changing needs of various municipal and code requirements. Kerrin believes one of the most critical elements of design is executing quality documents to insure ease of construction with excellent results for the end users.

With a portfolio including hundreds of projects and a dedicated drive to provide superior service, Kerrin continues to create innovative design solutions for any environment. One highlight of her experience includes designing the “Pull-a-Part”™ Townhome concept. This specialized prototype combines a landplaning solution with home designs to meet the demand of higher density (15du/ac) while retaining a single family detached lifestyle.

Kerrin has designed a variety of commercial buildings including the Make-A-Wish Building located in Natomas, Sacramento, CA and The Acorn Dormitory for The Children’s Receiving Home in Sacramento, CA. She is strongly committed to ending homelessness and actively supports and designs environments for charitable organizations, including Home Aid, The Children’s Receiving Home, and Volunteer’s of America.
