Robert E. Hafer


Bob Hafer’s 37 years as a leader in the new home building industry have given him an unparalleled insight into the mysteries and marvels of successful new home sales. His work embraces progressive success in consulting, management, administration, sales, marketing, merchandising, research and sales training. He is recognized for his organizational abilities in every phase of home building.

He began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1972 as an on-site new home sales representative and rose quickly to become corporate VP of Sales and Marketing and a Regional President for Ryland Homes. He is an active member of the NAHB, and the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) and Certified Sales Professionals (CSP).

For the last fifteen years he has provided sales, marketing and management expertise to over 100 homebuilders coast to coast. He has trained thousands of successful new home sales consultants, many who have been promoted to high level sales management positions. He is known for building confidence, improving sales techniques, and significantly boosting sales results.

He has been featured as a subject matter expert in nationally recognized media, including; Builder, Builder Radio, Realtor, Realty Times, The Real Estate Professional, Texas Builder, Texas Homebuilder and Professional Builder. He has been a speaker and panel member at numerous NAHB Conventions, including the Super Bowl Sales Rally.

In 2006 he authored Building Results—The Ultimate How to Guide for New Home Sales. In 2009 he will release his second book, ExSell in New Home Sales—Mastering the Six Psychological Rules that Govern Buying and Selling.
