Ted Wilson

Ted is a native Dallasite. He graduated from Amherst College in 1980. During the 1990’s, he worked in multifamily development with Drexel Properties, a division of Vantage. In the late 1990’s he worked with the Parkford Companies.

Ted began working with his partner, Jody Reese, in the early 1990’s, and in 1997 the two cofounded Residential Strategies, Inc.

Residential Strategies, Inc. specializes in new home market research and consulting. The company has in excess of 75 employees and operates in DFW, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso.

In addition to performing a quarterly census of new home activity, RSI conducts quarterly seminars that are attended by the key decision makers in the home building industry. Additionally, the company writes feasibility reports on the majority of new developments in the market.

Ted routinely consults with 250+ subscription clients that represent the area’s premier builders, lot developers and financial institutions. As a result he has established a reputation of understanding the latest new home trends, and the value and velocities of lot sales throughout the market.
