Jamie Bigelow

Jamie Bigelow, president of Bigelow Homes, is a second generation land developer and home builder. Jamie grew up in the industry and has worked in all departments of home building. Jamie is a strong proponent of environmentally and socially sustainable communities.

Bigelow Homes was one of the first developers/builders in the nation to bring to market affordable neo-traditional communities. Bigelow Homes has been recognized as one of the nation’s most forward thinking, innovative builders in the country. Bigelow Homes has been guaranteeing energy bills for over 30 years and designed its first traditional neighborhood development (TND) 18 years ago.

Bigelow Homes has received the award for Professional Builder of the Year, the most historic and prestigious award in the industry. The discipline, values, and innovative communities of Bigelow Homes has enabled them to expand into new states in the midst of the housing depression.

Jamie attended Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. He has also completed the Executive MBA (OPM 34) program at Harvard Business School. Jamie is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), North West Housing Partnership (NWHP), Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBGC) and other professional and community organizations.
