Bill Evans

William M. Evans, Jr. has been in the building, development business for 30 years. He has been involved in the development of over 10,000 home sites and is President of Fox Creek Properties, Inc. Mr. Evans is involved in all significant decisions of the company on a daily basis. He has developed condominiums, townhouses, cluster and single family residential in all counties north of I-20 in Metro-Atlanta. He has constructed homes in all of these counties also. In the late 1980’s, he purchased numerous foreclosed projects from the RTC and other financial institutions in Atlanta, and successfully completed the projects by providing the necessary expertise in the areas of marketing, finance, development and construction. Presently his companies generate $30,000,000 per year in lot and house sales and have been approximately this size for over ten years. Handling zonings and political entitlements is a specialty of Mr. Evans. He established the first stream buffer mitigation bank in Georgia on the Etowah River and continues establishing such banks as a separate line of business. Additionally, over the last 30 years, Mr. Evans has been a founding member of four banks — Heritage Bank, Premier Bankshares, Piedmont Bank and First Century. He has been on the board of a NYSE company, a NASDAQ company and an American Stock Exchange company. He is a past board member of the Atlanta Regional Commission, DeKalb Development Authority and DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Evans recently received his MBA from the University of Georgia.
