Curtis Kaufman, General Partner and Loan Fund Manager, has successfully raised, invested, and positioned over one billion dollars for homebuilding, land development and construction. As a third generation homebuilder, Curtis is a seasoned real estate and financial investor, lender, and builder. Curtis’ grandfather and father Donald Kaufman (co-founder of KB Home) were both homebuilders.

The Kaufman team has spent the past 20 years, encompassing two real estate recessions, entitling and developing land, building single family homes, as well as partnering with and financing single family homebuilders. The team is currently winding up as manager of a partnership with a New York hedge fund, which through its land banking activities has purchased and developed 1,897 lots valued at $100 million dollars.
